In this section we intend to build a cookbook month by month. We invite you to share your own favorite recipe using Arizona Pepper Products Co products to be used in our new "Gunslinger Smokin' Hot Recipe Book". If your recipe is selected for our book, we will give you full credit and recognition.

We will also feature submitted "Gunslinger" recipes on our new site, and your recipe may be chosen as the "recipe of the month". Each winner will receive a special flamin' hot gift. Be sure to visit our

RECIPES OF THE MONTH

TOASTED PECANS

Ingredients:

4 cups pecans halves
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. angostura bitters
2 tbs. ARIZONA GUNSLINGER® SMOKIN' HOT JALAPEÑO SAUCE to taste

Preparation:

Spread pecans evenly in a 13" x 9" x 2" baking pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes. Combine butter, ARIZONA GUNSLINGER® SMOKIN' HOT JALAPEÑO SAUCE, angostura bitters and salt. Pour over pecans, stirring occasionally. Spread on paper towels and cool completely.

Yield: 4 cups


 SHRIMP GUMBO

Ingredients:

2 tbs. butter
1/2 cup onion, sliced
2 tbs. green pepper, chopped
1/4 cup celery, diced
1 cup okra (fresh or frozen), chopped
2 cups shrimp, fresh or canned
2 tbs. ARIZONA GUNSLINGER® SMOKIN' HOT JALAPEÑO SAUCE to taste
Salt and pepper

Preparation:

Heat butter in a sauce pan. Add onion, green pepper and celery. Cook about 10 minutes or until soft and lightly browned. Add ARIZONA GUNSLINGER® SMOKIN' HOT JALAPEÑO SAUCE okra, parsley and cleaned shrimp. If canned shrimp is used, add 5 minutes before cooking time is completed. Season to taste. Simmer about 20 minutes.

Yield: 4-6 servings
